September Photo Gallery Sampler

There is a bedtime ritual that Erin follows quite strictly, with the kids reading a book, then I read them a book or more,  before getting in the bed, and she won't get in willingly without Elliott getting in first. This night, Jillian had a "sleepover" in their room.

All three, brushing their teeth together :)

In their 'beds' for the night. Interesting how Elliott is on the floor and his sisters are sharing his bed, when one is CLEARLY too big for it--see her feet hanging way off?

Jillian and Bailey at another cross country meet, but I don't know which one--they are all blending together now.

Erin has to be where the action is, which is with Daddy at the cross country meets, since Mommy is stuck in a lawn chair. It's hard to turn her down when she asks me to hold her, since I really can't without regretting it later.

Here they are again, but on the 2nd lap of a race.

Elliott and his pre-school teacher, Ms. Brenda. She has been such a great match for Elliott, and she was his teacher last year, too. Mrs. Klemm has been so encouraging and supportive, and we are thankful for her!!! We got to sit and chat with her for a few minutes over Dairy Queen cups at the pre-school ice cream social a couple weeks ago.
BROOKFIELD ZOO
Elliott is checking out the critters in the Fragile Rainforest.  I can't remember which type of lizard this is--gecko, salamander, something else???

Here's the zoo crew for this visit: Heidi, Jillian, Brooks, Elliott, Tom, and in the front, little Erin in her new 2nd-hand pink stroller. That was a blessing Nana found! :)

At the petting zoo, Elliott got up close and friendly with a couple of Nubian goats (I think).

Jillian and Heidi pose in front of the giant bee advertising the Extreme Bugz! special exhibit. I took Elliott, but I didn't think it was worth the extra charge. Oh well--he liked it!

At the Children's Zoo, the kids love to see the racoons. They are strangely active during the day. I'm not sure why they like them so much.

An all-time favorite spot--petting and brushing the goats!

Back at home, while I was having my hospital "fun", Tom, Brooks, and the kids played some soccer in the front yard.

Erin walks with Tom--super cute!

Jillian and Heidi pose for their self-photographed photo shoot. I wish I had their color of blond hair still!

It's been a busy and exciting month!
