After 3 years to the month of living in our house, we bid farwell to the friendly pine tree out front. "Uncle" Steve helped us rent a wood chopper for all of the branches still left from storm clean up, then he and Brooks knocked that tree down. Steve is supposed to take the trunk for firewood, and we need mulch. Elliott loved it all. It is a bit weird looking out our front window and having an unobstructed view of the neighbors house. I just hope the kids don't miss their favorite digging spot.
